Queenstown, New Zealand
A jewel of the South Island, Queenstown, sits on the edge of Lake Wakatipu. Known for adrenaline pumping adventure tours and as the inventor of the bungee jump this town in a wine growing region produces the best pinot noir and pinot gris in the world.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and baby George will travel to Queenstown in April. They will ride the ‘Shot over Jet’ for a high-speed ride through ravines and over white water. They will sample local wines and food.
